The interview process was very professional. I could choose the time that was most suitable for me. The interviewer explained things clearly and gave me the opportunity to ask questions. The first interview was non-technical. The second stage was a technical test involving MySQL. Unfortunately, my answers weren't great, so I didn't move on to the next stage.

The initial call with the recruiter went well, but the hiring manager's strict demeanor made the overall process challenging. While the interview itself wasn't overly difficult, the hiring manager's approach created an uncomfortable atmosphere, making it feel like I wasn't being given a fair evaluation.

Technical Technical

I went through 5 interview rounds. First, an HR screen, then a technical challenge, followed by a face-to-face technical interview with 2 Percona engineers. After that, I interviewed with the Manager and then the Senior Manager. Overall, it was a good experience. I found out about the salary range only in the last interview, though I never actually asked about it.

Behavioral Technical

The interview process with HR and team members is generally pleasant, but it can sometimes feel like running a marathon with a few detours. It might stretch out for about three months, with interviews that can feel like a workout in themselves, lasting up to an hour. They focus more on your experience than technical skills. After acing three interviews and being told the final one would be with the CEO, you find out they’ve chosen another candidate. They even double-checked if the proposed work shift worked for you. They don’t provide feedback.
