A standard process, it started with a recruiter call, followed by 3 interviews with different leaders. One of the interviews included a 30-minute role play of a qualification call. There were plenty of chances to ask questions and get to know the business.

The interview process started with an email to set up a 45-minute phone screen with Talent Acquisition. This first call checked if I met the job requirements, assessed cultural fit, and discussed the salary range. Next, I had a Zoom interview (camera on) with my direct supervisor, which involved more technical questions and a portfolio review. The third and fourth interviews were with potential colleagues (camera optional) and felt like 'do we like you' meet-and-greets. Cultural fit was a major theme throughout, which makes sense as Perceptyx is a people-first company. All interviews were one-on-one and scheduled for 45 minutes, though mine usually went closer to an hour.

There were a total of 6 interviews. It started with a recruiter screen, then a hiring manager screen, followed by a live coding screen, and a behavioral screen. After that, there were two final round screens. I went through all of these, and the recruiter kept saying the feedback was great after each step. It took 6 weeks to get through their process, and then the recruiter sent a generic email saying she couldn't give a reason why they decided not to hire. It would be nice to get feedback if they spent so much of their time on me joining their company. I felt like most people were fake, especially the recruiter.

I interviewed online for a Consultant role with Perceptyx. I first had an interview with two employees from HR and then with the Director of Professional Services. Everyone I met at Perceptyx were absolutely lovely and the whole experience was very positive. I had some great thought-provoking discussions with the Director of Professional Services in particular, and it was clear that they are a company which truly care not only about the work they do for clients, but also about their employees. Unfortunately I wasn’t made an offer, but they still took the time to give me some meaningful feedback about my interviews, which was very much appreciated.
