First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at PEP.
Account Coordinator
My first interview was a phone call where they asked some basic questions. PEP seemed like a great company initially, but the in-person interview was a different story. It was held in a small, cramped, and dingy room and lasted about 2 to 3 hours. I met with 4 interviewers who mostly asked about my experience, using "give me a time when" type questions, and also inquired about salary. (Be aware that for this role, they expect your salary expectation to be under $35,000.) The company also failed to offer basic courtesies like water or parking validation. Similar to what others have mentioned, the company culture feels like a sorority, and they seem to prefer hiring young women who have just graduated college.
- Have you had any experience managing people?
Account Coordinator
This company has a 3 step hiring process. It includes a first interview and a second behavioral interview that lasts 2 hours. Then they ask you to come back for a presentation. After that, they give you tasks to prioritize and ask you to write a recap email from a confusing transcript. Finally, you meet the VP who asks the same questions as the first interview. The whole process took months to even get a response after the job fair, and then it was drawn out over 2 months. Even though the interviews went well, there was no job offer. It feels like they waste your time with this process just to fill an entry-level supporting position. Growth opportunities here are limited.
- Describe your ideal job.
Account Coordinator
I had a phone chat with the HR Director where we covered standard stuff like my 5 year goals, strengths, weaknesses, and a couple of behavioral questions. Right after that, I hopped on another call with an Account Executive, and it was all behavioral questions. I also got to ask them some questions about the team, the office vibe, etc.
- Can you describe a challenging situation you faced with a superior, client, or project, detailing your approach and the outcome?
