Behavioral Technical

I applied online and the next day I got a call from the CTO. We had a quick 5-minute chat, and then scheduled an in-person interview. No pre-interview test was required. When I visited, I first met with the CTO again for about 20 minutes to discuss things and see if I'd be a good fit. Then, I interviewed with two senior software engineers. They asked some technical questions, mostly about PHP, MySQL, and OOP, but they weren't too hard. This part lasted about 45 minutes, and they were all really nice.

The recruitment process started with a phone interview, then I did an analysis task which I presented, and it finished with an interview with the CEO. The whole process was quite positive until the CEO interview. He seemed obnoxious and didn't even bother to read my CV before the interview, nor did he have a copy with him. A lot of the interview was spent on him asking basic questions about where I went to university and my GCSE results. It was frustrating as he gave off the impression that my time wasn't valuable.

Behavioral Case

I applied online with my CV on a popular Greek career website. About a week later, I got an invite for a Skype chat. The chat lasted about an hour with a manager, where we discussed my past work, my education, and what I've learned. They also asked about my thoughts on the company and my reasons for applying for this role. After that, I was invited to their office in Athens for a second interview, which was a business case where I had to respond to actual customer inquiries using provided company guidelines. This part took around 45 minutes and there was no further discussion. I heard back from them 2-3 days later. We then negotiated via email for two more days, and I was given the job offer.
