Behavioral Technical

I spoke with two interviewers over about three sessions, and also the hiring manager. The questions were pretty standard. However, two of the interviewers were really disengaged. One was late and wasn't paying attention, clearly working on their laptop. The other one seemed bored, yawned, and made faces after my answers. The pay wasn't great for the work involved, and the company seemed like a lost cause.

Behavioral Technical Coding

Had over 4 interviews, each with a different person, and they all asked pretty much the same things about my background and technical abilities. Felt like a waste of time. They threw in one really simple live coding test with just basic array questions, which was weirdly placed late in the process. There were also week-long breaks between interviews, so the whole thing dragged out for more than a month.

It was a mix of double and single panel interviews, with Art director, lead artist, 3D artist, VFX Artist, UI artist and producer. There was overall a relaxed and friendly vibe. One of the most enjoyable interviews I've had.

Behavioral Technical Other

I had an initial chat with the recruiter and apparently met all the requirements for the entry level role, and then some. The next step was a really long assessment with 5 questions, and it also included designing a complete survey for one of their products. Honestly, it felt like way too much to ask for someone who hadn't even talked to anyone on the team yet. I doubt anyone on the team even looked at my portfolio, which showcases my best work; they seemed solely focused on whether you could pass this overly demanding assessment.
