First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at People Incorporated (MN).
LADC II
I had a conversation with the director, who has since left the program. They asked me questions mostly about my experience working with specific populations: people with mental illnesses, multicultural groups, people with criminal records, and other at-risk individuals. After that, I went home and sent them my references. The director called me the next day with an offer. I gave my two weeks notice at my previous job and started this new role two weeks later. I'm sure the process has changed since then because that director left and a new supervisor was hired and became the director.

Medical Support Specialist
First step was a phone interview, then a few days later got invited in for an in-person interview. All relatively simple questions about what type of person I am, etc. At that point I learned that they reached out to my references. Some days after that I got offered the job. All through the office manager, never talked to a recruiter or higher up. Pretty quick and to the point! Hiring paperwork was all online which was also easy.
- Can you discuss your views on social issues?
Anonymous
It's a relaxed chat about your aspirations, past work, and how you approach your job. Just be sure of yourself and speak the truth! In a high-pressure setting, your true skills will emerge fast! While it's a talk, make sure your replies are professional, and avoid rambling. Sometimes being brief is best!
