Behavioral Presentation

I had a really positive interview experience with Pentland Brands about a year ago, even though I didn't end up getting the job. They were super clear and upfront about what the process would be like, both before, during, and after the interview. They also gave really detailed feedback, so I always knew where I stood. It felt like a transparent and human process, like they actually saw applicants as people.

Behavioral Presentation

The entire interview process spanned approximately four months, during which I had conversations with three individuals. These interviews felt more like casual discussions rather than formal question-and-answer sessions. Despite each interviewer expressing enthusiasm for moving forward, I often had to follow up for updates, and it sometimes took weeks to receive a response. Ultimately, after four months, they informed me that the role was no longer being hired due to budget constraints. Normally, I wouldn't continue with an employer who handles a candidate this way, but the current job market forces one to be desperate. It's a bit of a pity because everyone I spoke with was very pleasant and clearly passionate about their work.

Behavioral Technical

It was a long process with hardly any communication, and in the end, I was just ignored after having not one, but two interviews. It really upset me because they made me feel like I was the perfect candidate, so I got my hopes up. I'm left in the dark, with no rejection and no job offer. The whole thing started at the end of September 2023, my first interview was in October, and the second in November. I haven't heard anything since then, and it's now February 2024. I sent a lot of follow-up emails and was mostly ignored. I feel so let down. Of course, I'm put off working here now, but I still feel like I should be treated like a human and get a rejection with a reason. I'm guessing the reason is 'role/company restructure'.

Presentation Behavioral

I applied for a brand activation executive role back in April. After the second interview, where I gave a 20-minute presentation, I followed up three times by email and called for feedback. Eventually, I was told they'd filled the position internally. About two months later, I was contacted about a similar role and went through the whole process again, including a presentation. I'm still waiting to hear back and honestly, HR has been super unprofessional. They should at least let me know if I didn't get the job. Turns out, this might be a good thing because if this is how they operate, I don't think I'd want to work there anyway.
