First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency.
Customer Service Representative
I had a phone interview where they discussed my previous work history and how it could benefit the company. They also asked about my availability since the work hours can vary, and let me know that training hours would be different from my regular work schedule.
- Are you a dependable person?
Customer Service Representative
About 80% of the employees there are Penn State students who work part-time. When I arrived for the interview, there was a large sign out on the sidewalk advertising walk-in interviews. I knew then & there that they had a huge turnover problem. The interview went well, not really any surprise questions. I asked about the turnover rate and was told it was 30-40%.
- Were there any predictable questions?
- Can you tell me about the turnover rate?
Customer Service Representative
There were 4 people in the room and they all asked questions. It was stressful but they all had high energy and were enthusiastic. They all had some inside jokes and looked like they had all just come back from lunch.
- Why do you think you would do a good job here
