Started with a zoom screen with the recruiter. Then had a second round with the hiring manager, which went well. The third round was with the department VP. The VP was a bit late for the meeting and said they had a hard stop in 20 minutes. They seemed focused on whether I had experience in the casino industry. After that, my recruiter said I'd hear back within a week. When I followed up, I learned she was on maternity leave. I then contacted her out-of-office contact and got an automated rejection email. It was disappointing to lose communication and feel uncared for after the third round.

I spoke with the director first, then the manager. It was a really nice conversation. They asked me about my past work and how I'd approach different scenarios. They also inquired about my finance background. After that, I met with the manager, who outlined their expectations and asked if I had any questions.

The interview process started with a quick phone call to weed out candidates that just weren't a good fit. Then there was a group interview with other people applying. I didn't know it was a group thing beforehand, but it turns out they have them every two weeks and usually hire at least one person because the casino is always short-staffed. The main point of the interview was to see who had the most flexible schedule, could talk to customers, use computers, and do basic math. After that, a drug test, a background check, and then two days of orientation to get started.
