Analyst
Had a phone interview. The job stated 2 years of experience (entry level). I have over 6 years of experience (senior) but they apparently felt I wasn't senior enough, which is weird given the job description. The recruiter said the phone interview went well, but they never followed up. The recruiter didn't know why.
- Can you tell me about your OSINT experience?
Marketing
I applied online by sending my resume to HR after a college career fair. About a week later, HR called me to set up a phone interview. They asked me basic questions about my background, career goals, and school. After that call, they emailed me to come in for a formal interview with the Marketing team. There, I had a panel interview with the Events Coordinator, Marketing Coordinator, and Graphic Designer. They asked more specific questions about the job, my past work experience, and my abilities.
- Can you define what a BEO is?
- Are you familiar with using Salesforce?
- Do you have experience with Pardot?
Training Specialist
I had a phone interview with HR which went pretty well, not too many scripted questions. Then a few days later, I had an onsite interview with the hiring manager for the training department. During the onsite, the interviewer seemed a bit preoccupied with my college major from way back when, and I got the impression the job was more for a junior person. After the interview, the hiring manager never got back to me.
- The phone interview was good and not overly scripted.
- The hiring interviewer seemed distracted by my choice of college major from years ago.
- The role was probably geared towards a junior level employee.
Cyber Analyst
It was a long process. First, I got a homework assignment where I had to research a specific entity and then make a presentation. After that, they invited me for an in-person interview that included a presentation. The interview lasted about an hour and a half, but I never got any feedback on my presentation. Later, I had an interview with HR, and it took them quite a while to respond. In the end, they didn't give a clear reason why I wasn't selected.
- The process was very long. They gave me a homework assignment to research a certain entity and then prepare a presentation about it. Then they asked me to come for a personal interview and presentation.
- I was there for an hour and a half and didn't receive any feedback on the presentation. Then, in an interview with HR, it took them a long time to answer and in the end they didn't give a satisfactory answer as to why I didn't pass.
