The interview process had 3 rounds in total: 2 remote and 1 in person. They asked questions about my past experience and for culture fit. There were some unusual questions too, like 'how would you make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich'. The overall experience was very professional, and I felt they gave me a fair chance.

Recruiter screen first, then manager screen, and then a panel interview. I got “cold” vibes like they weren’t interested, but found out after the fact they try to not get chummy with the candidates in order to avoid bias.

I first spoke with an HR person over the phone about a job opening in Katy, TX. The interviewer discussed the role and some of my background. About a week later, I got an email inviting me for an in-person interview a couple of weeks after that, since the CFO, who is based in Calgary, would be doing many interviews during her brief visit.

Waste of time. I have over 7 years of experience in SaaS Support and DevOps skills (over 10 years in IT). They asked very basic questions, and I don't think they were really interested in hiring me. Maybe my salary expectations were too high, even though I discussed it with HR beforehand. It was an in-person interview, and I lost a day off going downtown Calgary.
