First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Peloton Interactive.
Sales Associate
The hiring process was pretty fast and simple. First, I chatted with a supervisor about my background, sales history, and customer service abilities. It was a relaxed talk, and they seemed keen to see if I'd click with Peloton customers as well as if I had the right skills. After that, I spoke with the Senior Manager. They zeroed in on my leadership potential, how I perform under pressure in a busy setting, and my problem-solving skills. Both chats felt natural and professional, giving me a real feel for Peloton's vibe. Communication was great, and I felt valued the whole way through.
- How would you approach a customer who's on the fence about buying something?
Sales Associate
I got a referral from a friend, so the process was pretty straightforward. I met with the manager and the West Coast Sales Director while they were visiting. They asked about my background and what I could contribute to the team. They also asked about my greatest strength and weakness. Then, there was a follow-up call with the hiring manager, which felt like more of a formality and took about a month to happen. She was actually fired later, so don't count on all follow-up calls being like that. She asked the same questions, and the call was only about 5 minutes long.
- What unique value do you believe you can offer the team?
- Could you describe your greatest strength?
- What would you consider your greatest weakness?
Sales Associate
Applied online and got an email the next day from the Sales Manager to come in. After meeting with the Sales Manager, you'll interview with the District Sales Manager. You should hear back from HR within a week. Then they do a background check and you start in about two weeks.
- What makes you want to join Peloton?
- Considering this is a sales role, do you believe you have the skills to sell effectively?
- What would you say is your biggest weakness?
