A recruiter reached out to set up an initial phone screen, which happened later that week and went well. Next, I had a phone interview with the hiring manager at the end of the week. We discussed the role and its impact on other departments, and it was a really positive and smooth conversation. The recruiter then contacted me again to schedule the next step, which was supposed to be an in-person panel interview with stakeholders. Due to COVID-19, this was moved to a virtual format. Peloton was very adaptable, and scheduling involved coordinating with three recruiters who were all very responsive and helpful. The following week, I met with various team members and department representatives virtually. These interviews provided a comprehensive understanding of the role and Peloton's culture. Everyone was apologetic about the virtual format but remained professional. These interviews took up most of the day, with each session lasting 30-45 minutes. One stakeholder had to reschedule, so I met with the SVP of Construction virtually the next day. We had a conversational discussion about our industry experience. After a few days, I had a final call with the original recruiter, where I received a formal offer. The recruiter detailed the benefits, and I accepted the position. The overall process was very smooth, highlighting the recruitment team's efficiency.

Behavioral Technical

The interview process was pretty straightforward. The only disappointing part was with HR. Towards the end, HR started taking much longer to respond with updates. They gave me the impression I was a potential candidate and even left a voicemail for me to call back, but they never answered or responded to my emails. I enjoyed my time talking to the team, but HR was very unprofessional. The process started with a screening call with HR, then I spoke with the hiring manager for a second interview. After that, I had two virtual interviews with potential coworkers.

Behavioral Other

The first interview was with a recruiter, who asked standard questions about my background and my reasons for applying. The second interview was with the VP, and it was a really disappointing experience. There were no structured questions, it was basically just 'tell me about yourself'. The VP seemed disengaged from the start, yawning and closing her eyes, and the questions were very basic, not really assessing skills or abilities, so I'm not sure what they were looking for. The yawning and falling asleep during the interview was extremely unprofessional and set a terrible tone.
