Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Peloton Interactive.
Accountant
Had a recruiting call with Talent Acquisition, which was pretty straightforward. Then a case study that was kind of intermediate and had some odd components. They communicated well throughout the process. The first round had typical interview questions. This description is definitely over 30 words.
- Can you introduce yourself and tell me about your background? Also, why are you interested in Peloton?
Accountant
The initial part of the interview process involved understanding my past experience and background, which went pretty well and the interviewer was professional. However, after that, it got tough to communicate, with slow replies and bad time management. This was really obvious with a test task that had to be done in a really short amount of time. All in all, the interview experience wasn't good.
- Questions about my basic background and work experience.
Accountant
I was sent an Excel assessment with a lot of information to review, analyze, and create a report in a set amount of time. This is usually something you get later in the process. Their communication and willingness to interview me based on my experience and personality gave me the impression they don't care if you're a good fit, but rather if you can just turn around data like a robot. I spent hours preparing and 2 hours on the assessment, but got no feedback, which seems common. Hope they get it together and shift focus to what's important.
