It was mostly a casual conversation about my work. We looked through my portfolio and discussed working tendencies, team dynamics, work life balance and benefits. We discussed which studio team might be appropriate for me.

They looked at my portfolio and we chatted about my past projects. It felt pretty conversational, with us both asking questions. I got to ask them stuff about what it's like working there and the general vibe. I also asked about their own experiences and how long they've been at the company.

I applied online and then got a call from the hiring manager a few days later. I was invited in the next week for an interview at their New Haven office. It was a 45 minute interview with the hiring manager and I thought it went great. At the end, she said they might take a while to get back to candidates because the next interviewer was out of town. I contacted them after two or three weeks to check on the status and was told to just wait. They kept saying they were waiting for the next interviewer. Now almost 4 months later, the same job is still being advertised. It would be great if they let candidates who drive in for an interview know where they stand.
