Phone interview was quick and smooth. If the salary wasn't in my range, then why bother. Salary was lower than I was looking for when I did receive an offer.

Behavioral Presentation

Got referred by a friend. Took 4 weeks total. First week had a few calls with HR, plus 2-3 phone interviews with senior folks (managers, directors, VPs). Everyone seemed really positive and energetic. They were open about travel, which turned out to be less than they said. Then the onsite, which was first-rate - they flew me out and took me to lunch. A senior engineer demoed their product, then I had more 1-on-1s with managers and VPs, and gave a presentation to the group. One last 1-on-1 with my VP. It was very light on technical stuff, mostly soft skills, which is typical for pre-sales. They really wanted to check my soft skills since technical is my strong suit. Then came the wait. They said an offer was coming, but it got delayed with signatures, about 3 weeks, which was a bit stressful since I really wanted the job.

Behavioral Case Presentation

The interview was mainly to understand my current experience and how it aligns with the customers. They wanted to know my preferences and what kind of role I envisioned for myself if I joined. I felt it was a good conversation. They talked a lot about Pega, highlighting it as an excellent organization. At the end, the interviewer said it went well and recommended me for the next round. I waited for 2-3 weeks for a response, and after following up with HR a couple of times, I was informed that it wasn't a positive outcome and they wouldn't proceed. When I asked for the reason and areas for improvement, they just said they were looking for more experienced candidates. My resume was shared before the interview, and there were follow-up calls with HR to elaborate on my experience.
