A recruiter reached out to me and we had a phone call where we talked about my skills and experience. After that, the recruiter connected me with the hiring manager for the team they thought I'd be a good fit for. The hiring manager set up a phone interview and then an in-person interview. The in-person interview involved meeting with four people from the team I'd be working with directly, plus my potential manager. Each of those meetings was pretty short, under 30 minutes.
