Behavioral Technical Other

I had the initial recruiter interview which was fine. Then I did a test around what others thought about me and what I thought of myself. I had to do a video interview with a program that provided questions and I had 5 seconds to prep and respond in a minute. I had no idea of the questions and some of the questions were about another product that was not related to the position I applied for. Needless to say I was not comfortable with format of talking into my computer at no one and not asking follow up questions. There was no way to go back and fix the answers. This interview should have been by video conference. They could not meet my salary demands and do not hire for lead positions. This process was less than pleasant and I would not recommend working for this company.

Behavioral Technical Presentation Case

I got approached by a pega recruiter on linkedin about a role. I initially said I wasn't interested as I'm not direct sales but pre-sales architecture. The recruiter sent over the job description anyway saying the title was misleading and there was no direct sales. The spec looked good so I agreed to apply. After some emails, the first step was an online personality test where you click words describing yourself and what you think others use to describe you. This was quick. Then I had a phone interview where I reiterated I wasn't direct sales and we went over my resume. After that, I was invited for a face-to-face interview. It started badly as I was late due to traffic and the recruiter was also late, out for lunch, and made me wait even longer. The interview itself was in a small, hot room with just the hiring manager, no one else. They asked the same questions from the phone interview about my resume and role history. This was a bit disappointing given the travel. The next part was a product demo with a future colleague. I thought it went okay and I asked about the system's inner workings, but didn't get answers. The demo was limited and I didn't learn much beyond my own research. The hiring manager came back, and they said the next stage would be a panel interview where I'd have to give a presentation on a given topic. The whole thing took under 2 hours including the wait time. About 2 weeks later, I emailed the recruiter for an update and was told I wasn't suitable because I lacked PEGA certifications and training me would be too costly. This was frustrating as they knew I didn't have them from the start. They also offered a more junior role with less pay, which I declined.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

The interview process started with a chat with the recruiter, followed by an interview with the Manager. Then, there was an assessment exercise. After that, I interviewed with a colleague and an internal customer. The whole process felt very friendly, relaxed, and quite transparent. Even though I had several discussions with different team members, they were mainly to give me a better understanding of the role itself.
