Behavioral Presentation

It wasn't too difficult. I had a phone screen, then an interview with a manager, and then another interview with a different manager. I just shared my screen and showed my results at my current job as an SDR, and that was enough.

Behavioral Other

I applied online through Glassdoor and followed up with an email. A corporate recruiter called me back and we set up a 30-minute phone interview. They told me about the company, the role, and the market they wanted to enter. My background fit well, so I thought it would be interesting. The recruiter was nice and professional. They asked me to take an online personality test, and I asked for a copy. That was the only good part. The test was accurate with some interesting insights. I then had a call with a more senior in-house recruiter. This person contradicted the first recruiter and barely listened to my answers to their standard questions. They asked about my experience with deal sizes, and when I said I'd worked with both small and large ones, they said neither fit the role. It's tough doing interviews all day, but it would be better if they made sense when rejecting me. It was a learning experience and confirmed that many companies look for a 'perfect' candidate.

Behavioral Technical Presentation Case

The whole process felt really personal, with about 9 meetings involving 7 different people, taking roughly 6 weeks from the first message to the offer. It was long and took time, but nothing was overly tough. The recruiter call was good; they were clear about what they wanted and why they thought I'd fit. I asked about salary, and they were upfront about the base and OTE (a 50/50 split). Right after, I met the VP of Sales for a chill, respectful chat. Pega kept me in the loop the whole time, and I got feedback after each call. Then came 4 separate Webex calls with different sales folks, from individual reps to leaders. These calls were all over the place – some were standard interview stuff, others let me lead. It was a good way for both sides to check each other out, though I wish it was a bit more structured. After those, there was a 45-minute role-play (30 min call, 15 min feedback) with the recruiter and the other 5 people I'd met. I had to prep a sales pitch deck, ideally one I'd used before, and do a sales call on a product I knew well. It wasn't too hard; they made me comfortable and didn't throw crazy objections. After the role-play, I chatted with their talent advisor for 30 minutes, who asked behavioral and 'tell me about a time' questions. Then, I had one more chat with a hiring manager. Finally, the recruiter called with a verbal offer, and the written one came a few days later.
