First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Peek.
Account Executive
It was a long interview process. They asked good questions. It was about 4-5 interviews long. I had to do a presentation based on a sales example they provided. It started with a recruiter call, then a sales manager interview, then an interview with the manager for the presentation, and a final interview with the head of sales.
- Why are you interested in Peek?
Account Executive
After applying, I had a phone screening that was really fast. The recruiter was super nice and went through everything in an organized and informative way. The next interview, which was in person, didn't go so well. The interviewer was all over the place and seemed really disorganized, like maybe I was the first person they'd ever interviewed. What really disappointed me was that they didn't make any eye contact the whole hour and were on their laptop the entire time, multitasking while I was talking. I doubt they heard much of what I said. Even though they were nice, it felt rude and unprofessional to not give me their full attention. On the plus side, some Peek employees who walked by were very welcoming. I'm sure they have a good culture and it's a fun place to work. My suggestion is to make the interview process more organized and personal, less sterile.
- Could you give me your 60-second pitch highlighting your greatest achievement and explaining how you would bring value to Peek?
Account Executive
I interviewed with a senior manager. He'd ask a question and then zone out on his computer. At first I thought he was taking notes, but then he asked me to repeat myself. He seemed completely uninterested in what I had to say. After the interview, I sent a thank you email and a LinkedIn message. No response from him or the recruiter. I followed up a week later, still no response. I followed up again a month later, and still nothing. It was a really bad experience.
