Sales Representative
The interview process involves three main steps: an initial meeting, a sales pitch presentation, and an assessment of your professional and personal personality. You should have a solid understanding of our company and its services. We're also looking for insights on the recent acquisition of a new workforce tool. Be prepared for a detailed questionnaire.
- Tell me about a challenge you faced and overcame during your sales career.
- What have you overcome in your sales career?
- Can you share a past sales challenge you successfully navigated?
Sales Representative
The hiring manager called me about the job. It actually took three calls for him to finally get a hold of me. When I got there for the interview the next day, the manager was 20 minutes late. This really showed me he was super unorganized. I've worked in publishing for about 10 years and after this, I definitely wouldn't want to work for Pearson.
- Can you tell me about the largest school you currently manage?
- Describe a situation where you were able to turn a challenging circumstance into a successful outcome, like a sale or adoption.
Sales Representative
I applied online, then talked to HR about my past experiences, then interviewed with the direct manager and the GM. The manager and GM asked harder questions than HR. I took a cognitive ability test. After that, they did a background and reference check before making me an offer.
- In what areas do you anticipate facing challenges in meeting the objectives of this role?
