The interaction was really bad. It was supposed to be a panel interview, but only one person showed up. The interviewer seemed uninterested from the start, and didn't even try to have a real conversation. I got the feeling they had already decided who they wanted and weren't really interviewing me. Felt like a complete waste of time.

Presentation

I went through several interviews and was at the last stage where I was asked to create a presentation outlining a strategy for their language learning apps. I was given a few days to complete this assignment. After sending the presentation, I didn't hear back for a week, so I followed up. They mentioned they were deciding between me and another candidate. After a few more days of silence, I followed up again, and they said they were still deliberating. Some more days passed, and I followed up once more, but this time, I never received a response. They clearly chose the other candidate, but honestly, they could have had the courtesy to inform me, especially considering the time and effort I invested in the interview process.

Behavioral Other

The interview process had 3 steps. First, an initial screening with HR, then a recorded self video interview, and finally 2 panel interviews with the hiring manager and team. Questions were pretty straightforward and it didn't feel too formal, which was nice. The whole thing took about 8 weeks.
