First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Pearl Insurance.
Customer Service Representative
It was the usual questions. They asked about my strengths, weaknesses, why I want to work there, why I'm leaving my job, and what my ideal work environment is like.
- What do you feel are your strengths?
- What are your weaknesses?
- Why do you want to work here?
Data Marketing Analyst
First, there was a phone screening interview with typical screening questions. They were fast to respond (same day) and set up an in-person interview later that week. I was supposed to meet with the manager and director, but it ended up just being the manager. It was a pretty standard interview. He had a list of questions and then let me ask about the role and team. Since they were just starting out with interviews, it might take a few weeks to hear back.
- Can you tell me about the smartest person you know and explain why?
- Describe a time you experienced failure and what lessons you took away from it.
- Hypothetically, if you could only ever take advice from one individual for the remainder of your life, who would that person be and what is your reasoning behind that choice?
Intern
The interview process was quick, personable, and efficient. The HR representative was very nice and made me feel comfortable when I arrived at the office for my interview. They seemed genuinely interested in my past experiences and how I could contribute to their team while also advancing my own career.
- What motivates your interest in working for Pearl?
Premium Receipt Specialist
It was a pretty standard interview process, like for any other job. Honestly, it felt a bit much with all the questions. I didn't really want to answer any more. It felt like the same questions were being asked over and over, maybe there should be a question about how repetitive the questions are.
