My interview experience with Peak Support was less professional than I expected. The recruiter missed the first interview, and I had to call them during the scheduled time to remind them. They rescheduled the interview, it went quickly, and I was offered the job. While I appreciated the chance, the process could be better organized and communicated to show professionalism and respect for candidates.
- Can you tell me about your previous experience in BPO?
Marketing Head
This was a ridiculous interview process. I had a video call set up, but the interviewer, who I later found out was the CEO's wife, joined without video. It was awkward because I was on video and she wasn't, and she didn't even mention it. Her style was very rude; she started by telling me how many people she had fired from this role previously. Then she asked me 'what am I good at'. I gave three answers, but she kept pushing for more by asking 'what else, what else' until I had no more answers. It was the same for 'what am I bad at'; she just kept asking 'what else, what else'. It was one of the worst interviews ever. Good luck to anyone who has to work with this person at this company, you'll probably get fired, based on what she told me.
- Tell me about your strengths and weaknesses.
Operations Manager
First, there's a screening stage to see if your experience fits what we're looking for. This is usually a phone or video call with HR where we'll chat about your past work, your big wins, and what you want to do next. We'll also see if you get what we do here and if you'd vibe with our culture. We'll also touch on your salary needs and when you could start. Then, you'll have interviews with the Hiring Manager, which will be more technical, covering things like supply chain stuff, making processes better, and how you manage your team. They'll throw some scenarios at you like, 'How'd you fix a broken process?' or 'What numbers do you watch in operations?' and 'Tell me about a big mess-up you had to deal with.' There's also a behavioral interview where you'll use the STAR method to talk about leading people, sorting out disagreements, and how you handle stress and make calls under pressure.
- How will you effectively manage a team?

Got an interview invite about a month after applying and doing the initial technical check. The interview itself was on Microsoft Teams and pretty chill. The person interviewing me was really nice and made me feel comfortable. She said she was backing my application and that HR would be in touch. It was short, just about 5 questions, and then I got to ask my questions. I got the job offer the next Tuesday, just a few days after the Thursday interview. After I accepted, I had to do a background check, which was super quick, done in like an hour. The whole process was handled really well and fast.
- Could you tell me a bit about yourself?
- What activities do you pursue outside of work, and what are your hobbies?
- In your view, what constitutes good customer service?
