Advanced Practice Provider
I interviewed with the manager, and she said she'd let me know about the next steps the following week. But then she ghosted me. The recruiter didn't get any updates from her and kept me hanging for 2 months. In the end, they just said they were looking for someone with experience.
- How do you interact with staff and MAs on a daily basis?
Data Analyst
Went through a group interview with a panel. They asked me about SQL stuff like primary keys, joins, and views. We also chatted about how the team makes a difference to the company and what their day-to-day looks like. It felt pretty relaxed and friendly, and the team seemed like they work well together.
- What is the difference between a primary key and a foreign key?
Patient Access Representative
It was in-person with two other people. I felt vetted but it wasn't harsh, they didn't intimidate me. The women interviewing me were very understanding and patient. They mentioned that I would have the opportunity to get cross-trained in other non-clinical responsibilities.
- Do you have experience with electronic medical recording systems?
- How would you handle demanding overdue payment from a patient who is attempting to be seen on a new visit?
- We do expect you to ask for payment of overdue notes and to collect co-payments while the patient is present. Do you realistically feel comfortable and capable of handling the intake of drowning victims, tourists who may not have proper documents, and things of that nature?
Physician Assistant
I applied online after the clinic was closed but while I was still employed with the company. They scheduled an interview for me within a week. The interview was pretty much just informational about the position and was 25 minutes or less. They didn't ask me anything until I asked them if they had any questions for me. Four of my colleagues (all men) got job offers within a week. I got a call a month later when I was on vacation and they told me they weren't hiring me.
- How would you handle sudden or unannounced policy changes?
