First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at PDR Corporation.
Strategist
I went through three rounds with the manager, a principal, and the team. We started by discussing the PDR client portfolio, role requirements, and expectations. Then, they explained the company's process and my portfolio.
- Can you describe your experience working with clients in workplace design?
IT Specialist
The interview process involved standard behavioral questions like 'Tell us about a time you handled a challenging situation,' alongside technical questions, such as 'What kind of BI tools have you worked with in the past.' The interview was conducted via MS Teams, and both interviewers created a professional and calm atmosphere. This was the best interview I had ever experienced. The interviewer thoroughly explained the company's mission and culture and detailed the job expectations and how they contribute to the corporation's vision.
- How would you go about solving a technical problem if you didn't know how to fix it?
Designer
The hiring team responded quickly via email. The interview was professional and concise, with a swift follow-up. Throughout the entire process, HR kept me informed about what was happening and maintained open communication. I really liked getting to know the company and the folks who work there during the interview. They seem to have a clear idea of what they're looking for and don't leave you guessing about the process.
- Could you elaborate on your portfolio items?
- What specific skills and experience do you have related to design?
Workplace Design Consultant
The interview process started with a 30-45 minute screening interview. This first part was generic, covering company info, the role, and my past experience. Then, there was a second interview with the CEO, followed by a third interview with two senior team members.
- Can you tell us about your current experience?
- Could you describe your leadership role and style?
- Please elaborate on the aspects of your resume that initially caught our eye.
