If you get past the first call, you might have some in-person or virtual interviews. You'll likely meet a few people like your potential manager, teammates, and other important folks. They're mostly looking to see how good you are at the job, what you've done before, and if you'd fit in here.

Had a basic screen with the recruiter asking about salary expectations. Then met with 2 Developers to discuss background and the position. After that, met with 2 Directors to discuss background and the position. Finally received an Offer. During the initial phone screen, I told PDI my minimum salary. They proceeded with 2 more rounds and then gave me an offer way lower than I stated. My suggestion for PDI is to put salary ranges on their Job Postings and be upfront about them during the initial phone screen to avoid wasting candidate and their own time. After talking about compensation, they said they'd get back to me. Then they ghosted. Really unprofessional and inefficient experience.

So I had this initial online interview where I recorded my answers and some PDI folks reviewed them later. Honestly, it was super easy and I think more companies should do this instead of a normal phone screen. After that, I was invited for a half-day interview. I met with two Consulting Managers, the VP of Professional Services, and the VP of HR. It felt really welcoming, everyone was super friendly and open, and it was a good mix of them checking if I was a fit and me learning more about the job and the company. It was like a two-way street, you know?

The interview was pretty straightforward with two main discussions. The first was technical, where I had to answer some programming and logic problems. The second was more of a general chat about how we handle processes and work quality. It was a good experience overall, and I think if you're decent with testing and coding stuff, you'll do fine.
