I had a phone screen with HR where they asked me some basic questions and gave me a test. Then, I spoke with the hiring manager about job-related things. The last interview was an on-site panel where they asked more job-related questions and some puzzles.

My interview experience was mixed. I decided not to proceed with the final in-person interview. After a total of 4.5 hours of coding and Java interviews, I felt it was excessive to be invited for another 5-hour interview. The company also seemed dishonest about travel requirements and was pushing me towards a role I didn't prefer, even though I was more qualified for a different, lower-level position they had. I completed an extensive timed written Java test covering many general topics, a phone screen for Java and computer science, and an online coding session, totaling over 4.5 hours. They then wanted me to come in for a 5-hour technical interview. I found this excessive, especially for the mediocre salary offered, feeling it showed a lot of distrust. On a positive note, the interviewing engineer was friendly and polite on the phone.

First, I had to complete a test which was timed for 90 minutes. It wasn't too hard but felt a bit long for the time given. After that, I had a programming interview. The questions were straightforward, but the interviewer was very quiet and seemed disengaged. I think I did okay, but I didn't get any feedback.

It was a 4-step interview process. Started with an initial screening, then a 2 hour email technical assessment. After that, there was a 1 hour phone technical assessment, followed by a 4 hour in-person technical assessment. It was a bit of a long interview process, but good practice overall. I put about 7 hours into it.
