Customer Service Representative
I applied online and got an email pretty fast to set up a phone interview with the hiring manager. The call was pretty chill, just some easy questions. We then scheduled a day for me to come in for an in-person interview. A few days later, I went in. You should arrive early 'cause it's in an office park and you might have a hard time finding the place. I checked in at reception, and the HR manager and the Department Manager met me and took me to a conference room. The interview itself was relaxed and had easy questions. We finished the interview with a tour of the facility. They told me I could expect a call in about a week if they wanted to move forward with my employment. It's too soon to hear about an offer, still waiting. Overall, it was a really good experience, and everyone from reception to the interviewers was nice and seemed to like their jobs.
- How do you feel about speaking with people you don't know over the phone?
- Is it okay for you to tell customers or management that you don't have an answer?
- Could you tell me about some of your weaknesses?
Client Service Representative
The HR department was wonderful in scheduling my interview and working with my schedule. The management interviewed me in a panel and were phenomenal in letting my know what the company was about and what they were looking for. I found it refreshing to find the that the interview was more 2-sided and focused on if we were a good fit for each other, versus me presenting my best case as to why I am capable for the job. It was really reassuring and gave me confidence to narrow down my list of job opportunities.
- What principles do you value and how could they benefit PBD?
- What are your interests, and how can PBD help you start and grow in those areas?
Order Puller
I applied and a week later I got called in for an interview. A week after that, I got my start date. The whole thing took 14 days. The interview questions were easy, mostly about skills for warehouse work. They also asked a couple of questions about getting along with coworkers and their different personalities, since it's a family-oriented company, so you know how to answer those. I was interviewed by the day shift supervisor, who will be my boss, because the manager was busy. The warehouse itself is really clean, which they show off to customers, so expect to do some sweeping.
- What's your top skill for warehouse work?
- How would your past coworkers describe your personality?
Contact Center Supervisor
I met with the Department Manager first, then I had a meeting with a Panel of Department Managers. They gave me a really thorough rundown of what they expect and some of the company's background. After that, I got the offer.
- Can you describe your past experiences?
- What is your understanding of the company's history?
- What do you anticipate regarding the responsibilities of this position?
