Sales
The interview process started with two basic rounds, but then hiring was put on hold. After four months, it was back on, only to be put off again within a two-week span. We were then told they were going in a different direction and chose candidates their leaders already knew from previous experience. There seemed to be clear miscommunication within the organization because they reached out to candidates after four months, not the other way around. I had already considered the opportunity lost. Overall, it was a mediocre process, but they did provide feedback, which is uncommon these days, and that's appreciated. A note to recruiting: make sure the feedback given aligns with the actual conversation that took place.

Customer Support
I was initially contacted for an in-person interview that I thought went well, and they invited me back for a second interview. The second interview was just okay. I felt like I wasn't "hip" enough for the interviewers, which turned me off to the whole experience. I felt as though I was trying too hard to fit in with the culture, which isn't a good sign. A kegerator in the office does not a good company make. Also, they were looking for someone whose career goal is strictly customer service. It may be a strength of mine, but personally it is not where the buck stops. Also, they forgot to contact me and let me know that they went with another candidate. This wasn't such a big deal for me, I got another offer anyway, but it would have been if I was banking on the job.
- Can you describe your career aspirations?

Sales Associate
I applied through LinkedIn and the HR rep reached out. We had a phone call. Since I'm not local, I had another phone call with the Sales Manager. Then they flew me out to Denver for interviews. Once there, I met with the HR rep, a Sales Manager, and the Onboarding Manager. Finally, I met with the VP of Sales and the COO. It seemed to go really well. The VP of Sales even said they'd probably make an offer, but then I just got a form email saying I didn't get the job. It was super disappointing, especially after spending so much money to travel there. Makes me question the company culture.
- The questions weren't too tough, pretty straightforward stuff.
- Some of the questions were actually fun to answer too.
Customer Care Professional
I didn't get the job, but I liked the interview process. It began with a phone call, then one in-person interview, and then a second in-person interview. The first in-person interview had back-to-back 1-on-1s, and the second was a panel of four people, two of whom I'd met before. Everyone was nice, though a couple of interviewers seemed a bit stiff for a startup with a relaxed vibe during the group interview. It was a good experience, and they kept me updated. They politely rejected me and then sent a handwritten note with a Starbucks gift card a month later, saying they enjoyed meeting me. That was a really nice gesture, and I'd consider working there again if they asked, though they probably just said that as a polite rejection. Overall, it was a positive experience.
