Coding Technical

I had an initial chat with a PayPal recruiter about my experience and the role, then I did a coding interview via Karat. The interviews were pretty good. I waited about a week for an update and asked the recruiter, but haven't heard back yet. I'm still not sure what the usual steps and timeline are for PayPal's hiring.

Coding Behavioral

The interview process was slow and unprofessional, taking a month without a final round after I applied. I had my first round and was told I was selected for the final round, so I gave my availability. No update came, and I was later told the position was filled internally. I don't mind that, but it was bad to hear after completing all steps. Then I got an email saying I missed an interview I never got an invite for. So, I only had the first round, and while waiting for the final round, I found out the position was filled internally. This all took a month, and I never even got the final round. I wish the process wasn't so slow. I got 3 other offers in the same timeframe. I'm sure PayPal's interviews are great; I just prioritized PayPal the most because it's PayPal.
