The interview went very nicely, communication was good and the assignments were easy to understand. They asked me to turn on my webcam to make communication easier, so I had to use my cellphone's camera.

A Sales Manager from Payever reached out to me on LinkedIn about an Automation Engineer opening, and I applied through their hiring portal. There were two positions, one remote and one on-site in Hamburg. A couple of days later, HR sent me a technical test to do on Codility. The task was to automate their e-commerce platform in staging. I had to use Selenium and JavaScript, which I did, and sent in the files with setup instructions. I emailed HR and waited for weeks, assuming it was due to the Christmas holidays. When I followed up, my application was surprisingly closed without any notification. I tried contacting the Sales Manager on LinkedIn, but he didn't respond either. It's really unacceptable to be treated like this, especially after spending hours on their task. If my automation framework wasn't good enough, they should have at least told me. It's just surprising behavior.

So basically, first the HR person will contact you. After that, you'll be given a test to complete. Once you finish the test and pass, you'll get a congrats email confirming you passed. Then, they'll contact you again for a 2-day online trial. They'll ask you to install their official communication app, Telegram, the day before onboarding. On the onboarding day, you'll actually get an email saying you're not qualified. They really treat candidates like a joke and waste their time. It's poorly organized, not really an IT company. Just a waste of time, honestly. Not recommended at all. Don't waste your time.
