Behavioral Presentation

The interview process was pretty standard and covered a lot, with 4 total interviews. It started with an initial phone screening, then a phone/video call with the direct report, followed by a phone/video with V/C suite leadership, and finished with a final presentation to my future peers. However, working with Paycom is a gamble and I'd honestly avoid them. They sent me a formal offer, I signed it, and even completed the background check and onboarding paperwork. Then, on the same day I quit my current job, they rescinded the offer for no stated reason other than 'We are going in a different direction.' It was truly despicable behavior from everyone involved.

Behavioral

This was a very transparent interview process. It's multi-phase, but the recruiter prepped me for everything. I really liked how clear they were about the role and how much time my recruiter spent getting me ready. If you're applying for this, you've probably been in sales for a while. Just let your skills show and you'll do great!

Started with a phone call with the hiring manager. Then, I had an onsite interview scheduled at Paycom's Downtown Cleveland office. Everything was going great up to this point. However, the sales manager for Downtown Cleveland was late and then didn't even show up. I ended up having a very brief 20-minute phone interview with him in one of their office spaces. After that, they asked me to come back the next morning for an in-person meeting with him. I rearranged my schedule again to make it work, and then I met with him for only another 20 minutes. He just gave me a bad vibe during that meeting. I didn't proceed to the next round, and honestly, I wouldn't have taken the job anyway.
