The whole process went down in about 3 weeks. The recruiting folks were super on it and kept me in the loop about how things were going. I really liked chatting with the team I'd be working with directly and also with people from other departments. It was pretty cool that the CEO took the time to meet with everyone who applied—it really says something about how much leadership cares about Paxos's future.

The interview process at Paxos was nice and simple. It began with a brief phone screening where I was asked about my background and interest in the role. Then, there was a Google Hangout interview, followed by an on-site interview. They asked questions that made me feel like they were trying to get to know me beyond my resume and see if I'd be a good fit for the company. All communication was timely and well-handled. They were accommodating with my schedule, easy to contact, and responded quickly after each interview.

The process was efficient and moved quickly. They were good at scheduling meetings, letting me know about changes, and preparing me for what was next. I met with a good mix of people and had a decent chance to ask them about the company. I had six separate 30-minute interviews, but didn't get the job. It's a bummer, but what really got me was when I asked for feedback on why I didn't get the role and was told 'feedback is not part of our process'. Honestly shocking since 'real-time candor' is one of their core values. After three hours of interviews (plus my own research time), I think some explanation should be given.
