So there were two rounds of interviews with the area director and the director of operations. These interviews took place at locations that sadly aren't around anymore here in the Bay Area. It's a shame, the place had so much potential.

Had a phone interview with the COO. We talked about the kind of work culture they're looking for, sales tactics, how to manage people, and an intro to the job. We spent a good amount of time on ways to boost revenue, if I have experience bringing in new clients, and how comfortable I am with cold calling and other sales methods.

I basically walked in and gave them my resume, and they called me the next day to set up an interview for later that week. Right after we finished talking, they offered me the job on the spot. That weekend I had to do some paperwork and then started my training, which was only on weekends and lasted for 5 days.

I saw a 'now hiring' sign at the under-construction building where the interview was to take place. After filling out an application, I was interviewed the next day. The managers seemed stressed and hurried. I got hired after completing a long online quiz. The corporate managers gave me a quick rundown of my duties before I began a 90-day trial period. Even without formal training, the managers were constantly critical and insulting. I realized the culture was all about profit and they wanted me to work as hard as possible.
