Product Manager Intern
The whole process took around a month. The recruiter was very responsive, and everyone I spoke with seemed genuinely engaged with my answers. Expect some tough, probing questions in every round, so be well-prepared and practice a lot.

Product Manager
The hiring panel was mostly white dudes and it felt like they were trying to reassure themselves they were smart with how they ran the case style interviews. It was hard to take them seriously. The process kicked off with the hiring manager, who did a case similar to the Facebook product sense interview. Then I met with 3 other people – a cross-functional person, an engineer, and another PM. The interviews mirrored Facebook's PM hiring process, so looking that up would give you details. The whole thing was pretty formulaic and you could game it if you studied the FB/Meta process.
- Imagine you're in charge of Apple Maps and Tim Cook wants Maps to be the category leader, but he can't give you a reason why. What would be your approach?!
- If you were at Spotify and tasked with creating a new offering centered around live events, what steps would you take?!
- As the PM for channels at Google, what key metric would you focus on?
Product Management Director
The initial interview with the hiring manager was positive. The subsequent two PM interviews, however, revealed a pattern of lateness from interviewers at Patreon. While I assume they're busy, being consistently 10 minutes late for nearly every interview makes one question their commitment to hiring and respecting interviewees' time. In one instance, an interviewer, without apology or explanation, stated that being 10 minutes late for a 30-minute interview was not an issue. Naturally, the recruiter's summary did not reflect these issues.
- What would be Apple Maps' strategy to regain market share?
