Behavioral Technical

The interview process involved two rounds. The first was with the manager, and the second was with the team. Each interview lasted about 30 minutes. There were some behavioral questions, but mostly technical ones. This is a research-focused position.

Behavioral Technical

The interview process was a bit messy, with different people not really talking to each other, and no one telling me who they were or what the interview was about. I had 3 interviews, which feels like a lot for an internship! It all happened in one week. First, two program associates interviewed me and made it sound super competitive. Then, someone contacted me to schedule an interview with the director. The director's video call didn't work, but they wanted me to turn mine on. That interview was better for understanding the job. The director said it was just me and one other person they were interviewing, which was different from the first interview. Then, the same program associates from the first interview interviewed me again. I offered to come in person, but no one replied. All interviews were on Skype.

I had a phone call first, pretty standard, asking about my interest and background. Then I went in for an in-person interview with my boss and team lead. It was about 45 minutes. They asked usual questions, plus some specific to the industry. Doing research beforehand was helpful. I didn't know who I'd meet, so I couldn't look them up.
