First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Passages Malibu.
Accountant
I got some bad vibes about this company from people who work there now. When I arrived for the interview, nobody really paid attention to me while I waited. It seems like the CFO position isn't stable, and there's no real management in the accounting department. People seem to come and go a lot in that department.
- The questions asked were typical for an accounting role.
Therapist
I was referred by a friend who works here and then emailed administration. The site director called me in, and we had a meeting where she was really nice and explained the job and hiring process. She called me back within a week like she said she would and set up the next interview with the CEO. I met with him the next week, and he worked around my schedule; he was pretty laid-back and easy to talk to.
- How do you foresee applying your skills to client interactions?
Nurse
The process went well. I was surprised that I had to meet with one of the owners before being hired. Initially, I spoke to someone over the phone and answered a few basic questions. Then, I was scheduled for an interview with the Nurse Manager. The next day, I had to travel to Malibu to interview with the owner.
- Tell me what you know about Passages.
Receptionist
I met with the department head for around 15 minutes. We talked about the job duties and they asked me about my strengths and weaknesses, what I could contribute to the department, and areas I could improve.
- What value would you bring to this department?
