Behavioral Technical Case

We'll start with a quick intro to the company and the role, then you'll introduce yourself. After that, we'll go over your experience and skills. We'll ask some general behavioral questions, maybe using the STAR method, and also check for culture fit. There will be some cognitive questions, and then we'll open it up for your questions. Finally, we'll dive into some role-specific scenarios, technical questions, and more behavioral/situational questions, along with problem-solving exercises.

It was an online interview and felt pretty casual. They asked about my background, strengths and weaknesses, why I applied, and what my interests are for the position. I was also given the opportunity to ask any questions I had. The interview was mostly in Japanese, but they asked one question in English at the end.

I talked to a headhunter at Pasona first, then got set up for a panel interview with a Japanese company. The Japanese interviewers seemed to like me and gave good feedback. Pasona, though, totally dropped the ball. They never got back to me or told me what was happening. I emailed them twice asking for an update, and they ghosted me. Not a very professional outfit.

It was a Skype interview, which I thought was just a phone call. We could see each other, which was a surprise. The interview was about 30 minutes total, and it was in both English and Japanese. They asked me about my resume details like my major and when I graduated.
