I went through two interviews: first a quick HR chat (about 10 mins). It was pretty high-level and I didn't get much chance to ask about the company, team, or benefits before we hung up. The recruiter said they'd be in touch later that week. Then, I had a talk with the CMO, which was a very different experience. It felt like the conversation wasn't really about the job I applied for. A lot of the questions didn't seem related to the job description, and I didn't get a clear idea of the role's goals or how success would be measured. It was also weird hearing about positive feedback from 'the team' when I hadn't met them yet. Even though they wanted me to keep going, I decided to pull out. Just sharing this so future candidates have more transparency.

The process was clear and thorough. It moved quickly without feeling rushed. The team was really welcoming, and I didn't feel like any of the interviews were unnecessary. The recruitment and HR folks were super communicative and made for a great candidate experience. They did squeeze in one last interview right at the end, but they were flexible and offered to push it back a week or do it virtually.

Recruiter reached out and we had a great conversation. He was very interested in moving me forward. After several follow up emails, only one of which was responded to letting me know he would get back to me early the following week to set something up with the hiring manager. I never heard anything back. Very disappointing. Just let the candidates know if it's not moving forward.

The recruiter contacted me for weeks to schedule a call with the CTO and me, and we had to reschedule multiple times. He was late and immediately asked why I was talking to him, which was odd since his team had been pursuing me. I said I was looking for opportunities to create new revenue-generating solutions. The CTO disagreed, saying they build solutions to consume user time, not based on sales. I then asked about performance ratings. After some evasion, the conversation came back to sales performance. He then cut the conversation short due to a hard stop, ending with 'last question.' Given this behavior, I'm not interested in moving forward.
