First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at PARTS iD, Inc..
Buyer
This company is not recommended. They interviewed me at their Jersey City location, even though the job was for their Cranbury location, which is a 2-hour train ride away. Upon arrival, I had to pay for parking, which I was not informed about beforehand. They promised to reimburse me for it. After an interview that lasted almost two hours, they promised an offer and a parking refund. They called me about an offer that never materialized, and I never received the $20 parking refund they promised. They never followed up or refunded me. The recruiter apologized for the unprofessionalism, stating that management hadn't decided on the buying office structure before hiring. Unbelievably, they then lowered the salary for the role after reposting it.

Digital Marketing Manager
I was emailed to set up an in-person interview. Before that, I had to take a personality test online. Then I interviewed with two people, but they seemed to not be on the same page about what they wanted for the job. They said they'd let me know that week if I got the job, but I never heard back. It's been about a month and a half since the interview.

Customer Care Specialist
This interview process was unique from my management career. I was presented with a staffing situation and had to create a staffing chart. I had 15 minutes to resolve the staffing question and then present my plan. This tested my ability to think quickly and apply my management and staffing skills.
- How would you handle an unhappy customer?
- How would you handle an unhappy customer, and are you finished explaining?
Sales Associate
The interview process was pretty straightforward. I got a call quickly and we chatted about the role and company. A few days later, I went in person and met with HR and a Sales Manager. I was really excited about the opportunity afterwards. They followed up well and I got an offer a week after that!
- How do you handle customer objections?
