First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Partners Personnel.
Warehouse Worker
They do a phone screen then a walk in interview. You will be asked about your work history, then you take a drug test, and then they place you. They move fast based on how busy they are.
- Can you tell me about your previous employment?
Accounts Specialist
The hiring process took two weeks to complete, which felt extremely long given the company's business relies on quick client responses. The office and district managers were friendly, and the interviews were as expected. The initial application was done online.
- Tell me about your experience.
- What prompted your departure from your previous role?
- How does your background align with the requirements of this position?
Planner
The process was quick and easy. It started with an initial screening interview with HR, followed by a second interview with the manager from the related department. After about a week, I received an email notification about the decision, and I also sent an email back to the interview staff.
- Can you share an instance where you had to perform under pressure to meet a deadline? Describe your approach and the outcome of the project.
Outside Sales Representative
I had my first interview with the Branch Manager who explained the job and what it involves, but didn't give specifics on the commission structure. They asked me some basic questions about my previous roles and why I liked sales, mentioning that money should be part of the answer. It would've been better to get the job description and commission plan then because at the next interview, I was asked if I had looked at them.
- Did you receive the commission plan and job description?
- Would you be okay working alone in the field?
- What's your understanding of the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)?
