It was a really quick and easy process, but also fun! I got to talk about myself and my life outside of work. Overall, it was a great experience and I'd tell anyone to apply.

Jobs usually get posted internally first. Then they are posted on our website partnersfcu.org, monster.com, and the WDW careers website. We usually do two interviews to narrow down who we want. Sometimes we do panel interviews, or just have the hiring manager. Other times, an employee who moved to another role internally will sit in to help ask questions that are important for the job.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

I had a face-to-face interview with the direct manager. He mentioned he'd recently relocated for this job. He was very approachable and shared a lot of positive comments about my job knowledge and previous experience based on my resume. He's looking for someone who can 'hit the floor running' and integrate well with the team. He went over the job duties and responsibilities in detail. The interview wasn't rushed, and I felt comfortable speaking my mind in a casual setting. He asked me to show him how I'd handle different situations based on various scenarios. Overall, it was a really good interview experience!

The interview process was quite disorganized and lacked follow-up, leaving a bad impression of the company. While I understand choosing other candidates, a simple notification, even through the career portal, would be professional for a large company. The initial recruiter call was good, informative about the company and benefits. However, the second interview was poorly organized. I was expecting to speak with one person, but ended up on a speakerphone call with a group, and their technology wasn't working. They should have mentioned this beforehand. Given the questions and the rushed, unprepared feel of the conversation, it seemed like they weren't truly interested or were just trying to meet a diversity quota, or perhaps they are just unprofessional. It's disappointing because I love Disney and would be a great fit.
