I had an initial virtual screening interview because of the pandemic. Then they got in touch within a week for a second virtual interview. The last and third interview was with the HR director. She hired me and I accepted right away. They communicated clearly and on time throughout the whole process.

It took a really long time to finally get an interview with this company. When they called to schedule, I almost forgot I had even applied. It was about 3 months from applying to talking to anyone, even after I followed up within a week. After my first interview with two senior managers, I was put on hold for a couple more weeks for the second interview, which was another couple of weeks away. This second interview was a panel with five people from the department, including the original two managers. It was almost two weeks again before I heard about a third interview, this time with HR. This interview was on Skype, lasted 20 minutes, and the HR Manager offered me the job and went over the details.

I interviewed in person twice, about a year apart (October 2012 and October 2013). While the interviewers seemed professional during the interviews, their follow-up was not. In 2012, my application status requests went unanswered, and I only got an automated email much later. In 2013, for a similar role, the same issue occurred – no status updates, and still no automated email even after a year. Considering their IT salaries are below market, I've decided not to apply again due to the low pay and unprofessional communication.

It was a quick 30-minute interview, and I got to ask my questions at the end. It was a private meeting in the principal's office, just me and the principal.
