First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Parkhill.
Construction Administrator
The interview experience was really laid-back and casual. From the moment I arrived, they made me feel really comfortable. The whole thing took about an hour, and we chatted about all sorts of things, both personal and work-related. Leaving the interview, I just had this feeling I'd found the right place. I was so relieved when I got the offer a few days later.
- They mentioned they don't expect a lot of overtime and prefer to keep hours under 45 per week.
Structural Intern
PSC first had an open house to look at potential candidates for internships. I made a good first impression with the department I wanted to intern for and I was called in to be interviewed about two weeks later. The interview was more conversational than Q&A style. It seemed like they were looking for people who were easily trainable, likeable with good communication skills, and hard working. I later got a phone call with an offer about a week after my interview.
- Could you tell me about the classes you've taken up to this point?
- What are your expectations for this work experience?
Structural Engineer EIT
I arrived at the office on time for my interview. The interview itself was in a conference room, though another interviewer joined via conference call. It was hard to tell how they were reacting over the call. After the initial interview, they gave me a really long tour of the office and we kept talking for hours. You'll probably need to follow up to find out if you got the job, as they might take several days to get back to you.
- Tell me about your experience using Revit.
Civil Engineer
I first heard about the company at a job fair, which led to an open house event. The open house was fantastic because I got to speak directly with the hiring manager for the area I'm interested in.
- What are your reasons for liking PSC?
