First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Parker University.
Administrative Assistant
I had one interview that was done virtually. It felt pretty stressful and the interviewer was nice at first, but then became kind of rude and passive-aggressive. Basic questions were asked. I decided to withdraw my application once I learned about the salary for the position.
- What are your goals for the next 2-3 years?
- Why do you want this role?
Coordinator
Did an Excel skills test, then had an in-person interview. It wasn't too tough, just covered the basics like why I want the job, my start date availability, and if I've worked with databases and creating websites/newsletters before.
- Can you tell me about your data management experience and how proficient you are with Microsoft Excel?
- What motivates your interest in this particular role?
- What is your earliest availability to begin employment?
Financial Aid Specialist
Had 2 interviews. First was with HR, pretty standard stuff about my past jobs and to see if I'd be a good fit. Second interview was with the supervisor or director, where they dug deeper into the role. They basically laid out how they expect me to assist the student body.
- What do you value most in a workplace?
- What does it take to be successful at this role?
