I applied for a position and got an interview invitation. I spent my holidays preparing thoroughly. But the company canceled the interview at the last minute. This wasted my time and also affected my preparation for two other interviews I had scheduled with other companies. I recommend that the company review candidates' qualifications and experiences more carefully before starting the interview process. This would help avoid disappointing applicants and ensure a more respectful, efficient hiring experience.

This manufacturing engineer interview was pretty standard. First, I chatted with the hiring manager over the phone. Then, I had an in-person interview on-site with the hiring manager and someone from HR. We talked about why I'm looking to move, my past experience, what I know about the company, and also about my strengths that I could bring to the team and areas where I want to grow. It was a good experience overall and gave me a solid understanding of the job and the company.

I gave a presentation about a university project related to the job. I also took a psychometric MCQ test and answered an engineering question about engine filtration. Then, we did a group exercise where we had to choose resources for surviving in space from a list.
