First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Parker Hannifin.
Engineering Intern
I had one interview with an on-site and a corporate engineer, it was about 30 minutes. They told me I did well and 3 weeks later they asked about my continued interest. Then 4 more weeks passed and I didn't hear back. I reached out and found out the HR rep never contacted me about the decision, so I was rejected.
- Can you describe a school project you really disliked or hated and explain your reasons why?
Engineering Intern
It was about 45 minutes long. They mostly asked behavioral questions, so definitely know the STAR method. There were also some technical questions where they asked about the projects you've worked on. They also go over your resume, so be ready to talk about everything on there.
- Tell me about a challenge you encountered and how you managed it.
- Describe a project you've worked on.
- Can you walk me through your resume?
Engineering Intern
Since it was an internship, the interview process was pretty laid back. I had one phone interview, and then an in-person one with a group of 6 people, including managers, technicians, and HR folks. Got an offer the next week and took it. I ended up staying for 2.5 years while finishing my bachelor's degree and made some really good connections!
- Tell me about a class you really enjoyed and explain your reasoning.
