Pariveda General Intern Interview Questions
& Process

For the internship, you are usually given a screening, behavioural interview phone call from a recruiter that lasts 30 minutes where they just get to know you a little bit more. After that, you will then be given an interview time and place (typically at your University) a few weeks later. The night before the official in-person interview with Pariveda, they invite all of the interview candidates to a nice, fully-paid for, 3-course dinner at one of the best restaurants in town. You get to learn more about the people interviewing you the next day, and you get to talk in a more casual manner about life, Pariveda, school, you name it. The in-person behavioural interview is scheduled for an hour and is where a full-time employee asks you questions about your resume, past experiences you've had, and typical behavioural questions. If the interview went well, the next and final step you take is the B-APT technical assessment that tests your ability to do problem solving with a pseudo programming language. After that, you will get a phone call the next week if you got the offer.

It was a bit unusual, the conversation mostly revolved around my preferred living location, as they seem to discourage frequent employee relocations. The interviewer also showed strong interest in my technical abilities. Given my extensive development background and excellent academic performance, I felt treated as if I had already secured the position.

The interview was very enjoyable and conversational. I was interviewed by a VP of the office and the focus was mostly on understanding the kind of person I am and where my values lie. It seems they really want to find people who match and live by their core values above all else.
