I had a quick 15-minute phone chat. They wanted to know about my background and sales experience. The interviewer seemed a bit uninterested. It was nothing too wild — pretty standard stuff. I guess they were hoping for someone with more solid sales background than I have, so I didn't get to the next interview.

I was super interested in this company and this role, but they advertised it as Remote and when I spoke to the recruiter they wanted someone local to the Philly area and more of a hybrid setup. The recruiter was super nice though. I didn't get far enough in the process to gauge if it would be a good place to work or if their interview process was good or bad, but I thought their salary for the role was higher than most I was seeing in my job search and the recruiter painted a great picture of the company and role.

The hiring process was great! It was fast and easy, and everyone I interacted with was really friendly. The interview itself felt like it was specifically designed for interns, which was a nice change from other experiences where it seemed like they just used a generic template.

I had a really bad time interviewing here. I was told I was doing great and was a top candidate multiple times throughout the stages, which made getting rejected even worse. After a lot of back and forth over weeks, the recruiter ghosted me for 2 weeks before sending a generic rejection email with no details. Besides the unprofessionalism, the team was condescending and sometimes misogynistic. It felt like some people's opinions mattered more than others and they were dismissive, making it feel biased and unwelcoming. I wouldn't have taken an offer anyway. The experience showed a lot about how they treat people. I felt disrespected and let down. If this is how they are, I'd tell other candidates, especially women or marginalized groups, to steer clear of Pareto.
